Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

You will then be presented with the Payments button. Clicking this button will take you to the secure payment page, where you can then pay using your credit or debit card or via Paypal.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you confirmation. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

The price for each Product from Internet Model Shop (UK) Ltd is in UK Pounds Sterling. While trying to ensure that all prices on the internetmodelshop.com website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will honour that price, if you have been over charged we will refund the difference.

Shipping And Handling All orders over £5 will be shipped in the UK free of charge by 2nd Class Post. A charge of £1.50* will be made for orders under £5 to cover post and fee processing.

We in many case can ship to Europe and the USA at no extra cost, any additional cost depending on the weight of the items ordered. For orders outside the UK please e-mail sales@internetmodelshop.com specify your order and contact details and we will confirm any shipping fee that may be required.

Note new VAT regulations came into force from 1st July 2021 for items shipped to EU countries from the UK, items under £150 or Euro135 will be shipped and the buyer will be responsible for VAT at their local country rate, there may also be an administration charge made.

Please note we are unable to ship Lithium Polymer batteries.

Placing an order with The Internet Model Shop (UK) Ltd assumes acceptance of the shipping costs.

*Why do we charge £1.50 - Besides postage and cost of packing, we pay processing fees to process your payment. When these charges are taken into account with postage it would in many cases not be economical to process orders under £5.

Delivery Schedule Spare Parts - If we receive your order before 3pm we will endeavour to dispatch your order on the same day.
Ready-to-Fly Products - Please allow 1 working day for set-up & testing.

Note: Unlike many of our competitors we only offer for sale the items we have in stock, occasionally due to multiple orders we may not be able to supply your parts, parts being allocated on a first come basis, we will always contact you with any option available in the unlikely event of this occurring.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will attempt to back order the item for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges UK
VAT has already been paid on import of our products to the UK. Our prices are in UK Pounds (GBP) and is the price you pay, no hidden extras, if your order is greater than £5 post and packing in the UK is free.

Europe

Credit Card Security We accept paypal only.

Chose the paypal option where you will be re-directed to the Paypal site to make your payment. If you have a Paypal account you should login and pay in the normal way, if you do not have a Paypal account tick the card payment box once you have been transfered to paypal and you can pay by most credit and debit cards. The Internet Model Shop does not have access to your credit/debit card or paypal information.

ALL MODELS ARE WARRANTIED FOR ANY DEFECTS RESULTING FROM MANUFACTURE. HOWEVER, DUE TO THE DELICATE NATURE OF THE MODELS NO RESPONSIBILITY IS ACCEPTED FOR ANY FAULTS OCCURING FROM ACCIDENTS WITH THE MODELS. THIS COVERS ESPECIALLY ANY OF THE ELECTRONIC PARTS THAT CAN BE EASILY DAMAGED BY SHOCK OR IMPACT.

R/C MODELS, HAVE PARTS THAT CAN WEAR QUICKLY AND MUST BE REPLACED ON A REGULAR BASIS. THE FREQUENCY TO REPLACE THESE PARTS IS DEPENDENT ON THE USER. THEREFORE, THE INTERNET MODEL SHOP DO NOT OFFER REPLACEMENT PARTS, UNDER WARRANTY, FOR GENERAL WEAR & TEAR. PARTS ARE ONLY COVERED UNDER WARRANTY IF THEY HAVE A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO REPORT ANY DEFECTS BEFORE USING THE MODEL.

ALL MODELS ARE FULLY TESTED BEFORE SENDING. THIS IS TO ENSURE THE MODEL IS CORRECTLY SET UP AND FUNCTION CORRECTLY.

Returns Policy We believe that you will be 100% satisfied with your product, but occasionally you may need to return an item.

You can cancel your order and return it to us within 14 days of the purchase date if it is in it's original condition, completely unused, and suitable for resale. You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us, and we suggest you use a secure delivery method (which requires a signature upon delivery).

Refunds are made within 7 days of an order being cancelled and the goods having been returned to us along with the original receipt.

For RTF (Ready To Fly) Helicopters, there is a simple procedure. Any faults or concerns must be reported to us before you attempt to fly the model. We test ready to fly models and Bind and Fly models before dispatch.
If you attempt to fly the model it can not be classed as faulty and no refunds or returns will be accepted. Although this sounds harsh unfortunately some customers will crash their models and then try and claim the model is faulty.

It is recommended full flight checks are carried out before flying. In any event you should do this before each new flight.

Please contact us by email or phone before returning any goods, so we can give you a specific returns number & the returns address.

You have the right to return a faulty item within a reasonable period of time. Please keep all the warranty information that accompanies your item as this may be needed should there be a fault. In the unlikely event that you have a faulty item, you may find it quicker and easier to contact the manufacturer directly so that they can rectify the problem for you. Our warranty covers all manufacturing defects and does not cover faults arising from poor/improper use.

As for normal returns, you must contact us by email or phone before returning any goods, so we can give you a specific returns number.

Regarding postage costs of returned items, if the item is deemed to be faulty we will cover the return postage costs to us. If it is just a standard unwanted return you as a consumer will cover the postage charge for returning the product to us.

By law, consumers in the European Union have the right to cancel a contract for the purchase of an item within Fourteen working days of the day after receipt of the order. If you wish to cancel your order under this regulation please notify us and give your name and order number.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive and European Consumer Rights Directive. The UK has implemented these directives in the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
